We are an international group with a small organisational infrastructure based in Scotland.
IFF’s international clan is a diverse group of individuals with different perspectives, disciplines, experrtise, life experience and so on. The group meets as a learning community as often as possible, including in plenary session.
Over the years IFF has worked with a wide variety of partners and clients addressing looming issues, complex problems, the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. IFF has played the role of imaginative catalyst, generating strategic insight.
IFF is registered as a charity in Scotland. The governance arrangements oversee both the activities of IFF and its related Praxis Centres (currently in UK and US).
The Boathouse in Aberdour, Fife is IFF’s physical home and headquarters. The Boathouse is a purpose designed inspirational conference and workshop space on the banks of the Forth. IFF’s intention is to establish The Boathouse as a centre for transformative innovation for Scotland and the rest of the UK.
