Open Access Publishing: Some Rights Reserved
At the International Futures Forum we believe in connectedness rather than isolation, and we encourage as wide a circulation of our work as possible. For these reasons we have most IFF material available on this site free to download.
However, as the sole publisher and copyright holder of such material we do reserve certain rights of usage based upon the open access movement, and the pioneering work of Lawrence Lessig, and Creative Commons.
This is a summary of the International Futures Forum open access publishing licence which encourages the circulation of our work under certain copyright conditions and is adapted from the ‘attribution/no derivatives/non-commercial’ version of the Creative Commons licence. Summary Statement
Users are welcome to download, copy, save, print, perform, and distribute in any format our work free of charge provided:
- The International Futures Forum and author(s) are clearly and prominently credited.
- The International Futures Forum website (www.internationalfuturesforum.com) is published together with a copy of this policy statement in a prominent position.
- The text is not altered, transformed, or built upon, and is used in full (the use of extracts under existing fair usage rights is not affected by this condition)
- The work is not resold, sublicensed, or used for any other commercial purposes
- A copy of the work or link to its use online is sent to the address below for our archive.
In the case of subsequent reuse or distribution of IFF material, these terms and conditions must be made clear.
You are welcome to request permission to use IFF material for purposes other than those allowed by the IFF open access licence.
