Asset Alliance
An IFF facilitated session held in December 2010 to explore the possibility of establishing an alliance in Scotland to support the organic development of a network of organisations and communities which take an asset based approach to wellbeing rather than a defecit based approach. While a discourse about asset based approaches exist in both the field of health and community development, this event was an attempt to join these strands together. The inititive was led by the Scottish Community Development Centre and the Long Term Conditions Alliance and supported by the Scottish Government Health Department.
