Index of Regeneration, Glasgow
Glasgow city organisations, led by Scottish Enterprise Glasgow, participated in the OECD's Renaissance Cities programme. As part of the follow up to this, partners are trying to formulate a new and more effective approach to the development of the city's human resources. They are particularly concerned to develop useful indices of development and include these in Glasgow's annual report card. IFF was commissioned as part of this process to investigate and assess interesting and relevant international experience.

A report was prepared which draws upon the experience of a dozen or so examples of the efforts of others in this field. The report, which is backed up via hyperlinks and a cd containing relevant material, formed the basis for a seminar in January 2005.
